Race Updates
Richard finished the run on Saturday 28th at 8:40 pm.
The total time for the run was 5 days, 13 hours and 20 minutes, establishing a new record. However, a severe injury dashed Richard's hopes of running the distance in four-and-a-half days as originally hoped.
Richard would like to express his sincere thanks to all those that supported him along the way, and especially to those who donated generously to Chernobyl Children's Project, Galway - 'Camp Claddagh'.
The very generous donations of the public amassed to a whopping €35,405, which brought 46 children to Galway during the summer. The rest and recuperation they enjoyed for this period was priceless.
